I saw a similar thread on another hardiness zone battle, so I decided on this. The coldest night of the year is at 0 to 5F/-18 to -15C. Nevertheless, the similarities for some climates end there.
Kodiak and Tahoe City also do indeed have a mean minimum within the 7b range according to NOAA. The data isn't on the Wikipedia page however. I made this thread in part of my discovery of NOAA's search tool on the mean minimum. That also explains the US only cities on here. Hopefully when I research mean mins of other nations I could make other extended similar battles!
EDIT: Can somebody change the name of the thread to 7A? Because I made a mistake lol.
