Interesting maps....

I see a sole 100 on NE/New England map....Keene, New Hampshire?

Also I see 110F for Needles, CA...pretty much normal for them.

PNW and coastal California ....normal to below normal.
and yet California’s central valley was roasting yesterday ....110F up in Redding/Redbluff area

Very warm morning for Burlington, probably an all time record.
Low above 80F is pretty rare for that area, same for nearby Montreal.

U guys beat me to it, but Burlington VT had a low of 81 F this morning, higher than any place in the NYC area. They're back up to 92/73 by noon. Albany also clocked a 78F low, might not be an all-time record but certainly very impressive. They're 93/71 @noon.

Montreal was a bit better. Trudeau airport had a low of 73 this morning, but they're back up to 90 by noon. Idk about downtown Montreal's low, but you can sure as heck bet it was higher than Trudeau's since the latter is on the outskirts of the city.

SLK was less impressive at 61F, but they've rebounded back to 86 F by noon. Ottawa (Cartier) had a low of 72F, and they've made it up to 94/74.

91/74 (heat index 100) here. Compared to yesterday, this is comfortable.

Ocala, Florida here. 93/71 today. Afternoon thunderstorm rolling in. The difference is, your weather will break in a couple of weeks. Here, it'll be the first week in October, if we're lucky. We were lucky last year and had a nice, crisp autumn and winter.

However, we are expecting mid-80s for July 4th. Happy Holiday, folks!

Day #4. 94.3°F max here today. Can't even gas up the car without sweating.

June 29: 90°
June 30: 92°
July 1: 96°
July 2: 94°

So Alpena, Michigan had 4 days in a row 90+. Today didn't make it.

6:30pm map. Didn't expect a line of storms extending like this. Thought maybe would be scattered convective stuff? I thought the cold front was Friday. How can this form under a ridge? I need to see some discussions.

Very impressive heat north of Philly/NYC (weird to say?)

Doesn't count if you can't fry an egg on the sidewalk yet.
