I could never live there. My Corvette and snow would get me killed.

Still no snow in Indy. We ended up with an ice storm last night. Got about a quarter inch of ice covering everything this morning. Roads in our neighborhood were a sheet of ice until after daybreak. Lots of schools are closed. I'm trying to remember the last time school had to close before Thanksgiving. Its been a while. Some pictures from outside our house this morning.

Eastern NC is still in the 70s. Hopefully that Atlantic Ocean ridge moves east of Bermuda and allows for troughs to dig into the south Atlantic states in the coming weeks.

Expecting a winter storm later today. Widespread snow accumulations of 2-4" likely in SW Ontario, with some areas closer to the GTA / Niagara Region seeing over 6". 1/2" otg right now, with heavier bands moving in.

It got into the upper 60s today, exceeding forecast expectations. We could have had a two week period of below normal highs if it weren't for today's warmth.
