Portland, Oregon sets new record for number of days in a year reaching 90F (climate, records)

It was 29 yesterday, surpassed today at 30 as it reached 90 again-or so I've heard.

Not sure it's official yet.

Not sure if we've broken the record yet, but if not we must be very close to the most 30C+ days on record as well.

We broke the record for the most 85f+ days. 31 days so far beating the record of 27 set... last year.

Portland is like my dream city. Very nice climate except when a winter cold snap hits.

You will see more and more heat records over the next 30 years as the planet heats up at a even faster pace.

I just wish the extra heat would translate more in the winter than the summer.

I wouldn't worry if I were you...the same thing was said regarding 2009-10.
