Just BS. Whats the point of winter if it keeps doing this?

Euro12z for NYC. No surprise mid level temps go above freezing during an event.

Starts as Snow, gets heavy for an hour or so then starts mixing and changes to Sleet & Rain. See the 5000' level temps? While precip is falling temps are rising. Pure BS. Lets move on!

Some models are showing 4-5” (!!) of rain here over the next 10 days on top of the 1” we’ve already gotten this month. Very wet for the desert SW, hopefully we get some snow as well

Not gonna happen. We're going to be in the battlezone between cold and warm air masses
So hopefully we'll get lots of snow

But look at Seattle. They could have more snow than NYC has had all season

Almost everyone left work at 1 today. The traffic was insane. Now at 6, there is nobody on the roads.
