No clue. If I feel cold I put on a jacket or sweater. If I feel too warm, I take it off again. I don't have a thermometer implanted in my arm. Depending on conditions the exact same temp feels cooler or warmer than the thermometer. There's a big difference between an overcast 65F when the north wind is bending the trees and a sunny 65F.

I'm a Floridian. Here's my breakdown:

Under 80 degrees F: long sleeves
Under 70 degrees F: add a sweater on top of the long sleeves
Under 60 degrees F: add a jacket on top of the long sleeves and sweater
Under 50 degrees F: drop the jacket, add a wool coat, scarf, and gloves on top of the long sleeves and sweater
If traveling to a cold place (snowy weather): add a hat and boots. If going to be outside for any length of time, add long underwear.

I like cold weather -- I just like to be dressed warmly.

I wear a sweater or a fleece until about 40 degrees.

A wool coat, scarf and gloves at 50?

At these latitudes and altitudes, use of a jacket is far more dependent on wind velocity than temperature.

It depends on how active I am. If I am splitting and stacking firewood, I'm in short sleeves down to about 40. If I'm sitting on the deck sipping whisky and watching a meteor shower, I'll put on long pants and a sweatshirt below 65, then I'm good down to about 50.

Yes, it's all about activity. For my very thin body, a light jacket below 60 is about right for doing nothing- walking around.

Hardier and/or younger interior Alaskans seem to be OK with just T-shirts down to around freezing.

Heavens! It's still summer! Wearing a jacket I pretty much avoid until it gets about 45F.

Until then throwing on a simple cardigan is enough.

A jacket to me is a light coat with maybe sateen lining and light WPF fabric overall.
A hoodie might be even warmer than that.

Will be wearing a jacket tomorrow, when I go skiing - forecast is for -3C/1C and sunny. Freezing level is lowering over the next couple of days. Forecast for down here tomorrow, is 2C/18C and sunny, which wouldn't be a jacket day for me.

Windchill is a factor when skiing, plus jackets have plenty of pockets, as it always pays to be prepared -turn down the wrong ridge, and it might be a cold night out!
