Oh nice. Yeah we are.early and on the other side we usually get blooms around the start of March and snow in November we don't really have seasonal lag

I think this year is about average. The peak is usually around mid-September.

The normal peak here is late September or early October
Edmonton is a city at 53N with an elevation close to 700m, not strange that thet get early fall colours.
I wouldn't say it gets early fall colours, in fact it's crazy that people here have peak fall colors in November.
