Short answer: Anything not desert or tropics, so that rules out anything A, B, or E on the Koppen scale (yes polar ice caps are deserts).

Long answer: I like cold weather (I also really like warm to) so anywhere where its cold with a warm summer and abudant precipitation would be perfect. So the Appalachians would be a guess of what I would like.

In land a bit from the Bay area say Santa Rosa in Sonoma County.

Portland ME or Portsmouth NH for now. Like a good for seasons with some oceanic moderation and skiable snow in the winter. This might change later on in life though.
