Today I'm south of the front, mostly cloudy with high of 83 with a dewpoint of 73. Thick air today.

Tomorrow the front stalls out, heavy rain and temps in the 60's expected (dewpoints in 60's as well). By Sunday I'll be well north of the front and the dewpoints will fall.

So glad I don’t live in a borderline subarctic climate, at the same time I really feel bad for northern Minnesota

Frost advisories and freeze watches extend from
South Dakota to eastern Colorado and the western half of Kansas late tonight through tomorrow morning. Possibly patchy light frost in the coldest locales in Central Indiana Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Both June 1957 and 1993 were considerably cooler than average. In fact, 2-3F below average, so I guess that's what I should expect this June?

Those Junes in London...

June 1957: 23.6c/10.7c, 22.4 mm, 284.5 sun hours
June 1993: 21.8c/12.2c, 43.9 mm, 224.2 sun hours

In both of those summers, July and August were notably cooler, wetter and cloudier than normal.

Big jet extension targeted at the PNW next week. Looks like we’re in for some pretty heavy rainfall.
