Yuck. I can't understand how anyone would want to live in a climate where it can snow from October to May (8 months of the year).

Continental subarctic climate fails at their finest.

I saw someone post something on Kansas about so many roads and highways closed due to flooding. Even they are dealing with flooding from rains.

I figured I see this scene in Louisiana too.

Look at the front in Texas. Dallas north of the front at 63, Houston south of it at 81. Panhandle of Texas in the upper 40's, RGV in upper 80's.

Thanks. Storms this morning mostly missed me; just about a tenth of an inch today. However, the next two days look pretty active. We could get another storm complex early tomorrow morning.

High today was just 74F and it stayed around 70F this afternoon with storms mostly to my south.

This is what my garden looked like this evening.

Spoiler

Ground isn't overly saturated yet. Weeds have kind of gotten bad lately.

Lots do. Living somewhere where we can get snow Sept-May, I've heard many people say how they love the weather here. Last year when it snowed in September all the coldies were jumping for joy. A few weeks ago when it hit 20C for first time, people on the radio were saying it was hot outside .

A great climate should have snow from September until June. So yeah... October to May is not quite ideal.

This May is pretty decent so far. Too late in the year to actually have any good (cold) weather, but the cloudy rainy damp days have been nice.

Doesn't look good for Houston. At least they had a bit of a break since flooding Tuesday.

Tonight's flood risk.
