Look at this temperature spread today. It's March up in Racine and Waukegan, but June down here

Big storms possible later this afternoon and evening

It has been an awful spring to say the least....

Mid Week, trough continues out west. As long as the Jet doesn't go to Quebec I'm ok!

Long range forecast calls for a continued unsettled late spring here in Texas but with El Nino effects wearing off they are expecting a very dry summer into early fall. They are actually talking about wildfires because there is so much vegetation this year.

This weekend was sunny, spent Saturday at the lake all day from like noon until 7:30 PM then partied at some friends house into the wee hours of the morning, spent Sunday visiting my gf and today is cleaning day and lawn day (lawn in morning/evening and cleaning inside at high noon, I already got enough sun on Saturday).

Looks like the ridge is "even-ing" out a little bit in the Desert Southwest, that should help them to have some more seasonal conditions.

This weather map shows "Dixie" quite well. A weather representation of why the Southeast was an agricultural society in one weather map here.

The best weather day of year. 80° with clear blue skies, low humidity and a nice breeze. This is the type of weather you long for but rarely get. It doesn't last (of course) as rain and cooler temps come in for tomorrow, naturally.
