Season: - 11.7"
Snow depth: - not even piles anymore
This is crap. Last year by this time I had nearly 20" and a depth of 6". F this mild pattern. Knew it wasn't good getting snow and freezing highs in late October
Who's winning? Snowfall totals for all U.S Climo Sites. Couple interesting things happening.
1. 7 Alaska locations are on the list. (haven't seen much of them in previous yrs)
2. Many on the Top 30 are still below normal
3. West Virginia, Iowa, and Kansas are on the list, not Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Pennsylvania.
4. This kinda shows how snowless it's been in the U.S this month
Curious how previous yrs were?
Here is 2014 to Dec 20th where Sault Ste Marie was 4 feet above normal. Erie PA on the list. Looks like early Lake Effect may have been huge that year.
Spoiler
2015 I only have to November 30th. Fairbanks was #1 at this point. 2 feet above normal with 50 inches of snow.
Spoiler
And here's 2016 to December 17th where Binghamton was #1.

Marquette Michigan at #1. For all of their snow to date, not much currently on the ground. Looked at a webcam in the vicinity and also found a snowmobile report. Ground isn't frozen yet, open water holes on lakes.
And:
"Snowfall in the Keweenaw Peninsula, 3.5 inch of new snow with 8 inches of snow on the ground, 62.5 inches have fallen to date as of 12/24/2018."
