Yeah, looking at the latest radar.. There's so much dry air to the north but I see a heavy band moving north towards DC! Couple of heavy bands out there. Richmond reporting heavy snow too now.
I think DC is about to get in on the action! But because they are on the northern fringe I would assume less than 2"?
Just watched ABC News ...they are claiming 13 inches now for Roanoke....
7” for Raleigh-Durham....most for a day in december in over 60 years....
Meanwhile no snow up in my neck of the woods...grass still green.
Yeah, bare here too! At least I haven't needed the umbrella past 5 days. Feels so good, but seeing all this gives me bad flashbacks of 2009-10.
Impressive numbers. Cant wait to dive in. Probably tomorrow afternoon
Here is Bonsack, Virginia which is just outside the commercial area of Roanoke. Nuts. Kids will be home tomorrow and people will be shoveling.
Radar and Metar Loop past 23hrs. (Minus some overnight hours, sorry, I do need sleep). I been saving a 4 hour loop every 3 hrs or so.
Look close at DC. The very last hour the snow line decides to dry up and drop south. They might not even get a Trace!
