You do realise that precipitation days on tutiempo includes daya with morning dew on the sensor, which will be most winter days.

There would have been nowhere near 218 rainy days, maybe between 120-150 actually had rain fall from the sky.

Is that tutiempo site even accurate? I looked up some places and some of those numbers seem suspect

Like Newport Beach, CA with a low of -13.9°C in August https://en.tutiempo.net/climate/08-1995/ws-722973.html

It's accurate for Pershore though

Nope, it's a terrible site, hugely inaccurate.

It is inaccurate for everywhere, how can you say it is accurate for Pershore if that is your only source?

Looking at that site data for my location what’s up with the foggy days in the 70s -90s. I mean we do get a lot of fog here but that seems insane lol. The rainy day number actually seems accurate however for where I am (163 average). And 2016 felt like it rained everyday for months so probably right.
