I meant cold compared to inland. Here is Astoria, Oregon along the coast also but much further south for comparison

We really can not really trust this data, but remember it's in a bay and Forks is not. In addition said the record that is in the wiki is for the visa of 36 years only. Here is another website, Intellicast: Intellicast - Neah Bay Historic Weather Averages in Washington (98357). Anyway the averages are more important, the records can vary even between NOAA stations because they depend on the position, although they are logically close.

D- if the stats are all real, but I also suspect that summer highs are at least a little bit too cool.

I think the summer statistics are correct or close to correct based on nearby https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatoos...nd,_Washington although the statistics for here are a bit outdated.

Anyway, E. It never really gets horrible weather, but it almost never gets any good weather. No warmth to be found here with a pitiful record high of 82ºF - even Hammerfest, Norway at almost 71ºN has a higher record high!

Not to mention that Neah Bay is likely subject to the howling ocean wind that makes temperatures feel 10º colder than they actually are (if you've ever been on the PNW coast, you know what I'm talking about).

I voted E....it's really never warm there and entirely too much rain and not enough sun. It is never extremely cold and you have no need to have air conditioning there are its 2 pluses.

The first time I went to the coast here I thought it would be nice to bring lunch and eat it on the beach. What a disaster. The wind constantly blew sand over everything lol. It was also like in the 50s/low 60s despite being in the 80s further inland.

maybe something about the way it sticks out into the ocean on a peninsula creates colder summers? Land to the south won't help when the prevailing summer airflow is from the northwest.

Winters are wet, damp, rainy, gloomy, stormy. High winds. Fog.

Summers have many beautiful sunny days, never hot. Foggy sometimes. The summers are cooler than in Forks, Forks can get some hot days. I went to a summer wedding at Neah. It started out clear, beautiful views, then fog rolled in around 3 or 4.

It’s a fishing area.

Due to the northern latitude, sun goes down early in winter (4:00 p.m.), late in summer (10:00 p.m.) at the solstices. Same with sunrise, 8:00 a.m. in winter, 4:00 a.m. in summer at solstices.
