Nowhere near enough sunshine. 105 hours in June, decreasing to 79 hours in July and 70 in August.

That's the average high. Longyearbyen with similar summer highs has a record high of 21°C (70°F).

E+; cold, dry cloud year-round. Clouds that do not drop any precipitation can go to buggery. If the clouds cannot even drop precipitation, then it might as well be sunny instead

However, if the annual precipitation was >1,000 mm, this would be C+ instead of E+ (or perhaps even higher, depending on how much more precipitation was added).

The polar penguin latitude is also FAR too high! Ugly long summer daylight

I like lots of daylight in summer, but I'd rather spend summer in somewhere like Rovaniemi, where summers are delightful.

For your information Angler, Bjørnøya will receive about 200 cm of snow annually due to the cold temps and the maritime nature of winters. Rain will be non-existent when it's an isolated island and the high is -5°C Better now?

Whoops. However, Svalbard is a bigger island, so maybe there might be some downsloping effect that caused the 70°F to be recorded. Downsloping is impossible on some parts of Bear Island, not sure where the station is.
