You have to remember that Milan’s sunshine is measured by European standards, not inflated American sunshine measurements.

Milan is far, far, far more exciting than Portland and does not suffer endless dreary 6 month rainy, cloudy, wet winters. Milan also has very poor winters, however they are shorter and not endless cloud and rain unlike Portland.

Yes Milan does have 6 month cloudy, dreary winters. Portland is sunnier than Milan during winter.

No it is not if you measure sunshine by the same method. And Milan doesn’t have constant sideways frontal rain either.

Sideways rain? What are you smoking? You should get out of your house more often.

Vancouver, BC has more sunshine than Milan.

Yeah, no, we'd still be sunnier.

Also Portland is warmer from Nov-Feb, about equal in March, and only slightly cooler (less than a degree ºC) in Oct and April.

Even adjusted for inflated measurements, Portland is about equal to Milan in December, higher in every other winter month, and easily beats Milan in spring.

I'll give you summers... but Milan gets the same dreary winter as Portland. It's not six months long either, unless you consider temps in the high 50s and 60s winter.

The type of dreary, windy, cloudy and gloomy weather associated with the Pacific Northwest in winter. You should know exactly what I mean as you’re from Seattle which is even worse than Portland in this respect.

You have absolutely no idea what the winters are like here or in Portland and arguing with you is rather pointless.

Very wet to say the least - Seattle has had 17 times as much rain as Sheffield this month!
