Looks like Breckenridge, TX has taken a direct hit by a tornado according to radar images and storm spotters.

"spotters are confirming it. last report was a very large wedge." Certainly doesn't sound good.

Yeah... this one isn't looking pretty. We are to the north of Breckenridge, TX in Duncan, Ok and we are watching the radars closely.

Our local news mentioned the town took a hit and did some damage in the downtown area... but they didn't have any specifics just yet. It is a nasty looking storm cell that is still rotating and heading N.E.

Gonna be a long night...

Oh my!!!! I've caught bits and peices of what the weather has been doing this evening. Tx. and Ok are sure in for stormy weather. They have been showing Tx. a lot, but have also been showing things from OKC. A semi was tipped because of the wind and they have some flooded areas. Someone was driving along a road and there was water all around them, but luckily the road was still passable.

They were saying that it would be a long night. Robyn, I hope that you and all the Ok and Tx people turn out ok.

Storms could occur this afternoon in E Kansas. The KC metro is getting pounded with storms right now. Other storms are popping up in the unstable air ahead of the front in E Kansas.
