Agree, colder winter would improve grade for me to from C+ to B-,
like my climate is B-.

Interesting that the winter Olympics were held in Sarajevo and
their winter highs average above freezing, same thing when Vancouver held them.

Winter Omympic games in Sarajevo were actually on surrounding mountains: Bjelašnica, Igman, Jahorina and Ozren.

Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo were in February 1984.

Average daily mean temperature in city of Sarajevo in February 1984 was 0.4c , but on Bjelašnica mountain average daily mean was -7.7c.

The biggest drawback is the chilly summer lows. An overall pretty good, but not brilliant, climate.

They are not chilly, they are mild.

Sarajevo looks like cloudier, wetter and cooler summer version of Sofia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sofia#Climate

Sarajevo is wetter than Sofia because is located more western.
In the Balkans more western means more precipitation and going eastern there is less and less precipitation.
