These cities are one and the same. Actually no, they are the same but split apart. These two cities are really the same version of each other from different timelines, it is just that Salt Lake City is the younger version of Honefoss from the future that traveled back into the past to be a city in the United States. So let's begin.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_Lake_City#Climate

Salt Lake City is a young city that is very future orientated. The climate is one that matches the progressive personality found in such a state, yet it is one that wants to ensure that all people find something positive in the city. It has a little bit of everything, and one climate in which intellectuals can excel in! This city has the perfect climate for a man like Socrates, one that can just go out and talk with people for hours outside about serious life topics. A climate built for a wise, and forward thinking person that is interested in the alternative. Like Dave Dameshek. This climate is loved by all as it gives just one thing that any person will love!

Edit: Dave Dameshek is an intellectual known for his insights on American Football and alternate realities.

Honefoss is an old city that is stuck in a older time period. It is progressive, but not in a mature soul like Salt Lake City. If Salt Lake City is Newt Scamander, then Honefoss is Albus Dumbledore. It is a city that is cold and snowy, but it is never too cold or too hot. It just has LONG winters, with a short but sweat summer. One that a person can read books outside for ages and never get too hot. A city where one can wonder about the ways of life, and wonder about all 7 billion people on this planet and who they are. This place is the perfect city for old people. This city is liked by everyone. At 60.17N latitude.

These cities are truly one and the same, but also split.

Can I choose neither? They're both pretty bad in my opinion.

i went with SLC but it was closer than I thought. SLC is warmer year round so that's why I voted SLC. SLC gets a fair amount of snow but Honefoss has to get much more..too much.

Salt Lake City is one of the best 4 season climates, a little dry but other than that its very nice. Winter cold with plenty of snow but not extremely cold at all. And winter sunshine. Summers are nice and warm to hot as summer should be. Yeah its really no contest. Honefoss isn't too bad for 60 degrees latitude though.
