Oregon has gotten pummeled with heavy rain recently. Lots of flooding, roads closed due to land slides. We got heavy snow a month ago which knocked over many trees and caused the steep terrain to de-stabilize. The highway that we normally use to get from Oakridge to Eugene is closed in 3 places due to landslides. It's still raining, but we may get a short break on Wednesday, then more rain.

Arizona is looking better by the day!

I'd rather that than 110+ degrees in the summer having it feel like an oven. Today's high in Phoenix is almost 100 degrees. Eff that. Its early April. I'd rather have snow.

One of the minor reasons why we like the Sound region.

This isn't average, our average high today is 83°F, and tomorrow is only supposed to hit 78°F

Wished my area was a mess jess. Can't buy a drop of rain and won't see any for another 3 months.

Fortunately nothing like this here. It was just windy on Friday and Saturday with some rain, cool and cloudy on Sunday and then not bad yesterday and today with some high clouds and sunshine. It could be better but also a lot worse.

I'm happy where I am, coastal Los Angeles. 75 and sunny today.

That’s to be expected from a temperate oceanic climate.

I know right? I'm in the Carolina's and today, it was already hot and humid and everyone had their windows rolled up, air conditioners blasting - and it isn't even May yet. Yuck.

Thinking of moving WAY up north in about 2 years. April - October summers are just too much for me.
