dews in the 80's is oppressive heat. I hate it when dew points are over 70. I'm so glad I no longer live in the deep south.
It's getting worse here every year with year round heat and higher dew points. This is what the planet has in store for everyone as crops fail and the big die off comes within 120 years.
During my stay in Cizre this July, the hottest high was 45°C. I feel sorry for my bad timing. Sooner or later it had to hit 47°C cause it happens in Cizre every summer ( Turkey's hottest place in summer).
2018's highest was 47.4°C
2017's highest was 46.9°C

It looks like he is about 35 miles from Tampa. To say that he’s “not anywhere near Tampa” is just not true.
Most people in the US would call that being close.
I have moved. 35 miles is not close when it takes over a hour to drive. Look up bay new 9 for FL and look at Inverness and it shows a 84f dewpoint and many other places are over 78f. So again the guy is wrong. Why would i lie about such a hell like weather? So it is clear that someplace in this country is showing a 84f dew point.
With Bay news 9 you can look up any city in FL and see how high the dews are.
If you are looking at PWS data on Wunderground, be wary of the dewpoint readings. They're often wrong. My station often reads way too high. I estimate the dewpoint in the summer by the morning's low temperature or the temperature drop following a thunderstorm.

Well i am not sure if my stuff is reading 100% true on the dews, but you can really feel it once they are over 78f.. Most times it is 72 to 77f, but we see over 80f in the summer a few days here and there
