I don't think people realize how hot the Yucatan can get. I've been following a Yucatan forecaster on Twitter. Sheesh. By April and May it's already blazing hot in the upper 90s with quite a few 100s thrown in near Merida. I'd expect something more like Cancun where 90 is common.
Even Cancun is quite hot considering the peninsular location. Average summer highs up to the mid 90s, vs 80s-low 90s like in Florida.
T-storms forecast over Texas today and even an enhanced severe risk from Austin to Dallas for damaging wind threat. Nothing for Louisiana; probably no rain at all here until maybe next weekend. May get into a wetter pattern in a week or two.
Tomorrow.....not getting out of the 60s. lol Awesome June. Tolerable summer so far.
Let me guess...Summer will be July, August, September, October. Then Fall November, December, January. Then winter February, March, April. lol
