Atlanta easily. San Diego is very boring with very little interesting weather, no rain, no storms. Also the Santa Ana winds which the climate table won't tell you about.

Atlanta. Way more seasonal, lots of interesting storm activity in the summer, plenty of precipitation, and unlikely to catch on fire.

San Diego would bore me to tears.

I like the Santa Ana's. I remember being in South Central LA in February back in 2016 making a delivery and it was 93°F with humidity only around 10%. It was great, especially since I had been in cold snowy northern Utah a couple days earlier

This is a joke. San Diego is far more pleasant.

San Diego has perhaps the nicest weather of any city in the continental US.

You can't really compare a Southern inland city to a coastal California city for weather.

San Diego is far more expensive to live in, though - that would be my concern.

Atlanta for being more interesting than San Diego and having snow.

Atlanta, far better warm season although I do prefer San Diego's winter by a long way. Also Atlanta has quite a lot of rainfall and good sun hours.

Atlanta: B
San Diego: B-

How is this close? What a joke. San Diego by a mile and I do like seasonality and cold, but Atlanta has a terrible climate.

I lived in both locations for many years. San Diego wins easily.
