Oops, I was looking at average for Baghdad instead of daytime highs when comparing. Should be swapped with Cairo.

Voted for Amman because I didn't see Casablanca. Oops.

I'd go for Casablanca for being similar to Sydney. Amman comes second as I lived there in the 90s and it was pleasant, despite the cool winters. The others are out of question.

Alexandria isn't too far off Casablanca though, just warmer summers but only one month with a high of 30c. But anyway, just wondering what were the summers like in Amman?

I just chose Casablanca without looking at any climates, but then I saw Amman had so many votes. I looked at Amman, and it's way better for being more seasonal despite being even drier, so my real choice is Amman.

Right now it should be a tie between Amman and Casablanca, with 6 votes for each. EDIT: Ethereal meant to vote for Casablanca but voted for Amman so I guess the vote count is accurate.

Btw it would be better with stuff like Kabul, Ankara, and Tehran included. Plus you could add Jakarta as well.

Casablanca, it's the only climate that's good enough to be in the F or "failing" category. The other 9 climates aren't even good enough to get an F, falling into the Z, or "among the world's worst" category. Cairo's percentage score was negative! The average grade of these climates was 10.06% / Z.

Casablanca: 30.9% / F
Amman: 17.3% / Z
Baghdad: 14.4% / Z
Alexandria: 13.8% / Z
Riyadh: 8.2% / Z
Kuwait: 7.5% / Z
Dubai: 4.9% / Z
Khartoum: 3.4% / Z
Jeddah: 1.8% / Z
Cairo: -1.6% / Z

I think I'd rather my heater break on Boxing Day in Resolute, Nunavut than live in one of these climates for a year. By the way, Resolute would be ranked 5th with an 8.5% / Z. Yakutsk, Russia, despite it's brutal winters, would be ranked first, beating Casablanca by 0.1%.

Casablanca looks like a really nice climate. every month is pleasant. The rest seem too hot.

Arab =/= Middle East =/= Muslim

Voted for Casablanca. Why are Beirut and Damascus not listed? They're both capital cities whereas Alexandria is not.

Yeah, thought this was Muslim. I was too tired at the time and got confused.
