Autumn/Fall- not too warm, not too cool.Outdoor activities with out the summer heat,or spring mud. Love the foliage changes. In our family it brings the most of our family gatherings. We have a lot of October & November birthdays- then of course, Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday).
That's what I love about Phoenix, Spring is long here. It generally starts in late February, and isn't over until mid to late June
Lol, Phoenix doesn’t even qualify as a proper four season climate. Phoenix has three seasons spring summer and fall. Cheers, and i bet that many Subtropical or even tropical plants can be grown in Phoenix with enough irrigation water.
I like all seasons for what they are, but if I had to pick one where I live, spring, because you can get anything during spring. I've seen both 95 F / 35 C heat and 15 F / -9 C cold in spring, 6 inches of snow, truly epic rainstorms and thunderstorms, and of course spells of mild, comfortable weather. Spring is also less sunny than fall, which helps because fall is too sunny where I live.
For Oklahoma
Spring: gets nice thunderstorms, landscape greens up
Fall: cools off, relief from summer heat (but fall foliage tends to be lame as the native trees' leaves just turn brown)
Winter: too dry and windy and temps are too variable, with not enuf snow. But I don't mind the cold
Summer: too hot and boring but humidity, while there, is tolerable
For North Carolina
Winter: nice and cool with occasional snow chances (but could use more of them)
Fall: relief from summer, beautiful foliage from late Oct-late Nov
Spring: lots of nice flowers, seeing trees get their leaves is beautiful
Summer: hot, humid, gross, but frequent thunderstorms is a plus
For England
Spring: the rapid increase in daylight was fun, but it could've used more temp variation and T-storms
Winter: boring and cloudy, needed more snow
I wasn't in England in the summer or fall so I can't comment on then.
For here, probably Spring. Winter is cold enough to be annoying, but not cold enough to be exciting, except on a few occasions. The last two winters have been pretty good though. Summer is great for heat, but it gets old fast. It's also a bit too stable. Fall is kinda meh, it's just a slow transition from warm and humid to cold and damp with a clammy gloom period in the middle. Also it's almost never sunny and crisp here, so I'll pass, thanks.

For me fall is best. Beautiful tree colors, mild temperatures again, a relief after the summer heat, and starting to have some rain by mid-September. The best time to pick fresh vegetables and fruit from the garden.
