Northwest Austin got a nice short downpour maybe 0.1", I only got sprinkles, barely a trace. Last significant rainfall was in early June. Temps dropped but humidity rose, dewpoints above 75 now. It's steamy.

"...everybody feel free to give thoughts on what you would like to see happen for fall 2019,..."

three things:
1. ONE East Coast hurricane.
2. NO Gulf Coast hurricanes.
3. no snow below 4000'.

Something strange happened. Yesterday we had this very nice weather, bright sunshine and a 26c high. Due to moderate winds, the dp fell to 7c. In the evening, the temperature dropped, but the dp rose back to 16c at midnight while the temp was 18c. The wind had stopped too. I wonder what causes this, seems like without any wind we are almost always very humid...

Ha! For once the forecast in Chicago and Minneapolis looks way worse than ours. Feels good to see.
