Another winter weather storm in Fall... Overwhelmed this year at how many areas have experienced this.

Looking at the wind gusts.. directly from the North. I knew it was gonna be cold looking at this. So I checked the wind chills... wow!

50mph wind gusts in Kansas and feels like below 0F.

BTW - -9° Temp in Havre, Montana is 37 below normal for the hour. lmao. Damn! What an airmass!

2-3 inches of snow expected here in Indianapolis this afternoon, moving out by late evening. Then temps plummet to the lower teens tonight and highs only in the mid-20s tomorrow. At least the sun returns tomorrow and it looks to be dry for the next week after today.

Given that I've seen in previous discussions that you would like to move to Cuba for their climate/weather patterns in the summer, I fail to see what you could dislike about late fall days in the 80's.

These cooler mornings must have given you some joy?

This weekend was chamber of commerce weather, high in the upper 60's under full sun on Saturday (69/42), high in the mid 70's under partly cloudy on Sunday (75/52).

Right now it's a mild humid morning, currently 66 degrees with a rather humid 62F dewpoint. We will peak out at 12 noon and the cold front starts coming through in the afternoon, it'll be in the upper 40's with rain by 5PM.

We will go below freezing at 3AM and have several hours below freezing so this is not like the last freeze. The last freeze lasted one hour maximum, this one will be multiple hours. I will be protecting plants and pipes (they say to protect the 3 P's which includes pets). My pet (cat) is inside and will be fine in the heated house.
