It will be like this all year within 30 years as the planet keep boiling away. I knew there would be no 60's for lows this week.

A look at the current temps at 10,000 feet this morning. It's in the single digits (F°) under the Upper Low which is now centered over South Dakota.

#ColdAirmass over the U.S for this time of year.

How cold? Well, -16°C over Rapid City is in Top 3 coldest for October.

How about Denver? It is -11°C (12°F) according to National Weather Service. What the ****.

This is colder than its January average low.

What kind of abnormally is that? There should be a threat about it.

That begs the question.

Assuming you grew up in that climate, I bet it was mighty different 30 yrs ago and you didn't have ~100 F so late in October, right ?

What I'm getting at, as that when I moved to U.S. after spending 33 yrs in one climate, my body was craving cold around October as Chicago wasn't supplying it.

Or was the change so slow and gradual that you acclimated to it over the years ?

Oct always had 90's as far back as the 1970's. Now it is staying into the 90's well into Nov. No more colder weather at all in OCT for the last 8 years. Winters have warmed up so much the last 30 years as well.
