Moderator cut: There's now only one chat thread on the forum for non-weather related posts. If you want to post random weather stuff, there are a number of other threads on the forum that may be better (such as the weather chat thread, seasonal, forecast and what's your temperature threads). The chat thread is meant to be a bit more colorful than the other threads, but the usual forum rules still apply. From previous history here are some reminders:
No personal attacks; don't use this thread to criticize other members, only argue against the post not the poster
This includes attacks against members not active in the thread or no longer on the forum
Do not use this thread to speculate if a new poster is another user. Or to speculate if a member is banned, etc.
Do not use this thread to complain or even just discuss moderation. Especially about another subforum. Direct message me for any questions of complaints on weather forum moderation rather than use the chat thread.
Only post links to images that copyright. Generally, the only images that are ok to hotlink to are ones clearly public domain such as government, scientific websites or wikipedia. Alway include a source link as well. Linking to a tweet that contains images is ok, and the tweet counts as a source link.
