Can somebody say a rapid onset early spring and a longer hotter summer for 2020 aka perhaps a 2012 repeat?
About time we got some colder weather. I hope to break into the 30's for once. Anytime the wind is up and living right on the gulf keeps the temps up while just 2 miles inland from me can be 4 degrees cooler.
Wends morning should get me to around 38f with any luck. I had no 30's last winter. High was 65 today around midnite and dropped thru the morning. Should see our first highs in the 50's this year Tues.

You might have a medical condition if mid 70's is scorching hot to you. It felt room temp to me during the daytime, and after dark, I almost needed a jacket

He should live on the gulf with a west flow 24/7 in the summer when the dews are 77f + and lows are a killing 80f+. Talk about a slap in the face at 6 am when ya open the door. All the life is sucked out of ya.
I would also hate the dry heat you get and super dry dews. I will take my weather over that.

He's from coastal Miami, so he knows FL heat/humidity

No, starting at 75-77f it can indeed be called hot. Not disgustingly so, but hot enough to keep me from doing any arduous activities outside. Luckily I haven't felt that kind of heat in a while.

That isn't normal, unless you live in an area that never gets that warm typically, like northern Europe, or the Canadian/Alaskan tundra
^No, it's perfectly normal even down here. There's a reason why places like gyms and offices very often keep their A/C below that range. In large public spaces the most common A/C setting I see is 72f.
