Depending on who you believe, Monday here in Indianapolis we could get 3-5 inches of snow, just an inch, snow and ice, or mostly rain. Ugh. I hate these types of forecasts. On the plus side, after Monday, we appear to stay dry until Christmas Day when rain is in the forecast with temps near normal, though that does mean no white Christmas.

All that heavy rain went poof like i knew it would once it got in that colder water 70 miles offshore. No rain to even type about. Always happens with no upper level support as the water 120 miles offshore is warmer and once the rain gets in the colder water it always dies out.

I like cold-air damming events. They make December feel like December.

As of the 13th this month is averaging +2.5F above normal.

Up and down pattern. 6-10 day cold then warmer during the 11-15 day according to the Euro

The high was only 48F/9C today but it felt warmer. The sun really makes a difference here, even near the winter solstice.
