** Just a reminder.... Odds are against a snowy winter when it snows too early... At least for this region...

Here are the dates it snowed 1"+ before Nov 16th for BDR & NYC and what the season ended up with.


Only 1 ended up above normal out of 7 for NYC.





And just for kicks.....After last years November snowstorm it barely snowed through the winter with less than a foot heading into March. It was March that brought the snow for the season.

I dont mind getting cold but theres something about getting early snow that ruins the entire pattern
