50F in Boston at 8pm.

Nice to see Alaska cold. Polar Vortex not far from them. These are temps, not wind chills

Jet is dipping in the West. Storm will ride the ridge. No snowstorms in East for at least 7 days

Actually, on that run precip falls through below freezing air at 5000' and the surface is between 1-5°C for Jacksonville. Thats why its showing the blues. Just the algorithm that produces snow when parameters call for it. But those temps would support snow. Cold comes in while big storm around.

GFS makes the holiday more fun. #Eggnog

Probably the only run that will produce that result. Lol

Very foggy morning this morning. In some spots, I could barely see a few feet in front of the car. It doesn't seem to be freezing fog here despite temps in the upper 20s around 30, but I have heard reports of icing from freezing fog further north. Tomorrow could be the warmest Christmas in Indianapolis in 37 years and on of the top 5 warmest ever, shooting for a high approaching 60F! Normal is 36F.

50s happen in December but I wouldn't say a lot. Especially not this late in the month. Last time we had 50F+ temp on Christmas was 1994. Back in 1877 we had 12 straight days of 50F+ temps between Dec 14th and Dec 25th.
