Both Memphis and Virginia Beach meet the temperature requirements. But Virginia Beach goes the extra mile not only by actually being on the coast, but also by having a stronger summer rainfall bias (whereas Memphis is more toward late spring).

Except Virginia Beach doesn't get as hot in summer as either Memphis or Shanghai
Difficult to find an exact match in the Eastern US as Shanghai has a higher amplitude/continentality more comparable to the interior South but it seems more strongly shielded from harsher cold snaps and has low diurnal ranges that are mor comparable to coastal areas.
Memphis is perhaps closer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wuhan#Climate or the interior Yangtze river valley more precisely than to Shanghai itself, and Virginia Beach has temperatures closer to those of Tokyo's climate, which is less continental than Shanghai's.
Shanghai tends to have shorter summers than the US south but also more humid summers at their peaks. Probably Memphis or Raleigh.
What I find interesting is the precipitation pattern. Shanghai's precipitation is high in June due to the meiyu front: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Asian_rainy_season Then, its precipitation declines in July due to the subtropical ridge pushing the front to the north. Its precipitation increases again in August due to typhoons. We see the same precipitation pattern in Miami, presumably because it is a similar distance from the ITCZ. The ITCZ goes pretty far north in summer in east Asia.
