^ I always thought using the airport (Logan) as the official station for Boston is not the best. It is right out on the waters and not a good indicator of the temperature of the rest of the city that’s just inland.

IMO, the dividing line in Mass between the milder coastal climate zones and the colder areas are the Worcester Hills- those areas get much more snowfall than Boston metro and the elevation is around 1,000 ft.
