Last day of Spring! May 31, 2020.

Picture Perfect Day! Temps in the 60s, Strong Sunshine, Dews in the 30s. Stiff North Breeze.
Temps in the 30s at 5000'

#Trough #JetDip

Keep these dips coming! Usually these troughs = clouds but I think High Pressure is over us keeping things sunny and dry.

It is 66F with a dew point of 43F and mostly sunny here at 12:22 p.m. The forecast high is 68F today, with a forecast low of 42F.

It feels nice to have lower dew points again, but the humidity and heat will return around Wednesday.

We missed our record max low by 1°F for the 2nd day straight. Our record is 84°F, set in 2003; and this mornings low was 83°F

Upper 60s with sunshine is too damn warm. It's better than 70s and 80s like the past 7 or 8 days, but still not good.

That basically indicates that we've reached the part of the year where the weather is garbage regardless of whether there's a ridge or trough. Just different magnitudes of garbage. The only exception was June 2nd 2015, where we had a max of 52f with overcast drizzle. That's the only summer day I've ever enjoyed.

I'll ride my bike today, but I'll wait till just before sunset. There's only one thing that leafed out trees are good for: hiding the sun.

Quite impressive that your area in Ontario has gotten hotter than Indianapolis has for the month of May despite Indianapolis being at a lower latitude.

May 2020 turned out to be the coldest May of the 21st century (so far ofc) for Estonia. Monthly mean temperature was 9.0C, the norm is supposed to be 10.4C. Other cold Mays were 2015 and 2017. May seems to be getting cooler in recent years....

Well it was a pretty nice Spring if not odd at times. Story seemed to be having some warm peaks and then settling into cool patterns for a couple weeks at a time.
March's avg high was a degree or two above avg. April a few degrees below avg and May even cooler. 68,73,77. Only a 9 degree rise over 2 months. Of 22 years at KPDK, was the 3rd coolest April and 2nd (barely 77.3 vs 77.1) coolest May.

March's avg low was one of the warmest on record while April was actually cooler than March. May was almost 10 degrees warmer than April and about 6 degrees warmer than March. May's avg low of 55.4 was the 2nd lowest on record. 2005 was just 54.2
