About 7 more days of below normal temps then a pattern change but way too late in the month. This May will likely join April in being below normal.

Last night, technically this morning, Indianapolis dropped down to 27F. That officially ranks as not only the record low for this date, but the coldest temperature ever recorded here in the month of May.

100 miles or so to the north, Fort Wayne, Indiana dropped to 23F overnight. The coldest May temperature ever recorded there as well.

What a great day!

Here are a list of places which set a monthly record this morning. I'll keep adding as I find them.

LaGuardia (LGA)
Binghamton (BGM)

Fort Wayne (FWA)

Had some heavy t-storms yesterday with cold front. Got 2.37" of rain. I didn't have anything severe, but warnings were issued to my south.

High today of 71F and mostly sunny. Forecast to get down to the upper 40's tonight!

I just checked out my location’s record May low, and it is 24F. We didn’t get close to that record with a low of 30F overnight. We might’ve broken a daily record though.
