Made it up to 86 or 87. DP around 70 all day. Had to build a makeshift bridge for our dock since the water is so high. Water is much warmer than last weekend. Coolest day forecast is Monday at 80. Might not even drop below 60. I'm pretty much calling Spring done. Lot of mid-upper 80s forecast and lows mostly hanging around 70 or just below.

Where are you right now? Dallas, Houston or Atlanta?
I was there in late April early May when there were several days in a row of 100F+ and yes it was hot but tbh not unbearable. The RH was like 10% or even lower. When I drove into San Antonio it was in the Mid 90s and felt much more uncomfortable

Today's high/low were 111°F/84°F (Avgs were 100°F/74°F). Tomorrow is predicted to be 109°F/81°F. If it does exactly that, our mean for the month will be 86.2°F.
That would make this our 4th warmest May on record, beating out current 4th warmest May 2009 by 0.1°F.

We also tied 2 monthly records today. Those were most total highs 110°F+ and most consecutive days 110°F+. The record for both in May is 2 days. If tomorrow overperforms and hits 110°F or higher, we would break both records outright
Looks like there could be a blow up in the south gulf and i would bet my life it will go toward TX or the north gulf coast and i won't get a drop out of it. I pray we can get a repeat of 2012 when a stuck TS brought me 11" of rain in 6 hours time. Just about got no rain at all in May and see a dry June coming with the never ending west windflow.

Keep these dips coming! Usually these troughs = clouds but I think High Pressure is over us keeping things sunny and dry.
