Clemson/Seneca had a tornado overnight. We moved to the guest bedroom in the basement after the phones went off. Took a walk outside at first light, not much damage here.

Winds at 2500 feet will be at 85mph.
Get a little mix down to surface and that's trouble

It is 38F here in Indianapolis and our wind chill is 27F. It doesn't look like our temps will climb out of the 40s again until this coming weekend.

And speaking of the wind, as it is very windy here gusting to 45 mph currently, I can't remember the last time I saw such a huge part of the country under a wind advisory at the same time. All of that light brown from Maine back to Iowa and Missouri and Michigan down to Georgia.

Yet another very cold morning in central Alberta today. The low of -16.9°C at the Edmonton airport seems to be a new record. Not sure if the -26.0°C at Paddle River Dam is accurate but I'm pretty certain that the -46.6°C at Wainwright is not accurate!

I am sweating at a sunny 21°C with a t shirt on me to be honest.

I sweat a lot and smell bad in just 1 day after having a shower.

Keep in mind that the current temperatures are about 10-15°C below average.

But yes, it's a terrible climate... and I'm moving away from it later this year.
