I'll have to get my phone and convert the Celsius to Fahrenheit. Don't understand why you post the temps in Celsius when so many here are from the USA.

Montreal:

Cool, comfortable mornings, warming up with sun.

Mid-day rrather warm, but not too hot. Humid. Makes for a lush environment. Great for swimming and river sports.

Afternoon thundershowers and cool evenings so you can go out on the town, enjoy the long, late, drawn out sunset and dusk, and sleep comfortably.

Because I am from Europe. Are most people from the USA? In that case I will convert them next time.

Don't need to bother. Most of the people who frequent the weather board are fluent in both systems

03:00 - Partly cloudy, 17°C
Good as summer weather, but only if it lasted longer and UV wasn't so weak. Loses in poll.

Option B - "Montréal-style" Continental
06:00 - Partly cloudy, 18°C
14:00 - Mostly sunny, 26°C
22:00 - Scattered showers, 20°C
03:00 - Heavy showers, 19°C
Temperatures are good, but cloud cover, UV weakness and brevity of summer weather are disgusting. Loses in poll.

Option C - "Paris-style" Oceanic
06:00 - Partly cloudy, 15°C
14:00 - Cloudy, 25°C
22:00 - Partly cloudy, 21°C
03:00 - Partly cloudy, 17°C
Too cloudy, ideal temperature-wise, UV too weak. Loses in poll.

Option D - "Roman-style" Mediterranean
06:00 - Sunny, 20°C
14:00 - Sunny, 33°C
22:00 - Clear, 29°C
03:00 - Clear, 24°C
UV too weak, summer humidity uncertain but tolerable, dry summers are a bonus. Wins in poll.

Option E - "Death Valley-style" Hot Desert
06:00 - Sunny, 32°C
14:00 - Sunny, 51°C
22:00 - Clear, 43°C
03:00 - Clear, 37°C
Too hot to be ideal, even for someone like me. Strong UV and lack of cold are silver linings, though. Heat isn't nearly as bad as it would be due to the dryness, so I could take it. Wins in poll.

Option F -"Dubai-style" Hot Desert
06:00 - Sunny, 31°C
14:00 - Sunny, 42°C
22:00 - Clear, 37°C
03:00 - Clear, 33°C
Too hot and humid, even for someone like me. Strong UV and lack of cold are silver linings, though. Loses in poll.

Option G - "Reykjavík-style" Subpolar oceanic
06:00 - Partly cloudy, 9°C
14:00 - Cloudy, 14°C
22:00 - Light rain, 13°C
03:00 - Cloudy, 11°C
Somewhat warm during the day... but that's it. NEVER. Plus, their UV is weak; they have a lower noon sun angle the majority of the year than we ever do! Loses in poll, total fail.

Quote:
Option H - "Singapore-style" Tropical
06:00 - Heavy rain, 25°C
14:00 - Scattered showers, 31°C
22:00 - Thunderstorms, 29°C
03:00 - Heavy rain, 27°C
Too humid to be ideal, but I love rainforests and thunderstorms! UV is about as strong as it gets! No tropical cyclones in the South Atlantic is a huge bonus! Wins in poll.

Quote:
Option I - "Rio de Janeiro-style" Tropical
06:00 - Mostly sunny, 24°C
14:00 - Mostly sunny, 30°C
22:00 - Thunderstorms, 28°C
03:00 - Clear, 26°C
Too humid to be ideal, but UV is very strong, and I'd take prolonged humid heat any day if it meant no cold ever again. No tropical cyclones in the South Atlantic is a huge bonus! Wins in poll.

Quote:
Option J - "Edinburgh-style" Temperate Maritime
06:00 - Partly cloudy, 11°C
14:00 - Partly cloudy, 19°C
22:00 - Mostly clear, 16°C
03:00 - Cloudy, 13°C
Not terrible, but not preferable either. Good temperature-wise. Not enough UV, so it loses in poll.

Option K - "Birmingham-style" Temperate Maritime
06:00 - Cloudy, 12°C
14:00 - Mostly cloudy, 21°C
22:00 - Cloudy, 17°C
03:00 - Mostly cloudy, 14°C
Not terrible, but not preferable either. Good temperature-wise, but too cloudy. Not enough UV. Loses in poll.

Option L - "Seattle-style" Temperate

14:00 - Sunny, 22°C
22:00 - Mostly clear, 19°C
03:00 - Clear, 16°C
Mild. Sunny. Pleasant. Not enough UV for me, though. Wins in poll.

Oh, I assumed most people on C-D were from the USA. I tried doing the conversions on my iPhone but math was always my weakest subject.

Temp°F+40=X
X*0.555=Y
Y-40=Temp°C

Or

Temp°C+40=X
X*1.8=Y
Y-40=Temp°F

These work because - 40°C = - 40°F
And 1.8°F=1°C as well as 0.555°C=1°F

Somewhere between D and L, I love warm dry days. My ideal range would look something like this.
6am: 19C/66F, Foggy
2pm: 26C/79F, Sunny
10pm: 21C/70F, Clear
3am: 17C/61F, Mostly Clear

So maybe "San Diego-style" Mediterranean/Semiarid?
