I must say, the summer of 2020 in Fort Worth has been extremely mild by Texas standards, at least so far. Fort Worth meacham airport, which is the nearest weather station to my location in Fort Worth hasn’t even reached 100 F once so far this summer. It appears there are no 100+ temperatures in the forecast either.

High of 92 F with 75 F dew point. My AC is set to the dew point temperature, which is what really matters since I will stay at home today .

LOL, climate doesn’t change in 140 or even 450 years. On a geological scale, 450 years is not even a second.

Only 0.07" of rain from Hurricane Hanna observed in the past 48 hours. A station near Bastrop recorded 1.03" though, that was the highest in the area. Further near the coast, 3.61" was observed so this system was not a big rainmaker and rain diminished quickly from its center. Only 0.15" for the month observed so far. Very Med-like, which is very common in July/August in Texas.

Sunny and 94 expected tomorrow, the ridge is already building back into place.

Interesting because those environmentalist wackos’ computer models project that your area may become dry summer subtropical aka Mediterranean in climate later this century. I don’t actually believe such a projection though since such models are pure GIGO.

In the future, DFW will probably turn into a Bsh climate like Punjab and see a hot & dry summer, followed by a monsoon season and winter. The Bsh vs Cfa line has moved 100 miles East in the last 100 years, so it will probably cross Dallas in the next 100 years.
If that happens, get ready to experience 110 F and blazing hot sun for a whole week.

Would you say Kansas City Missouri or Omaha Nebraska might become borderline or outright Bsk in climate then within a century or two?
