Theres a very low chance. They are forecast 7/3 (45/37F) tomorrow so theres a chance of some flurries but most likely just showers.

The elevated, highland areas in the southeast definitely will.

150 km from Melbourne. This video was probably taken at around 1600 meters altitude.

Here in Sydney it was pretty sunny and dry with a high of 17C. But it was so windy that it made the air feel colder than it is (wind chill). These sort of polar blasts are more common in mid-late winter, not even early winter, let alone autumn.

On the east coast, or the leeward side of the mountains, we would typically get clear skies, gusty winds, and temps around 15C-18C, when it is usually snowy (or at least cold, rainy and cloudy) in the mountains with temps around 0C-5C. Kinda reminds me of the Chinook wind effect experienced in the US:

Horrid icy westerly blowing once again. Heaters on once again after a lull. 15C at the moment in the city. Disgusting icy westerlies

How the polar blast looks from space (Foehn wind-ish):

Clear and sunny here, cold and snowy in the mountains.
