Maybe that few days ago we had winter of the century with temps -2F (-18C)?
I suppose those 2 are different locations in Texas. One must be cold location in Texas and other must be warm location in Texas.
What is unbelieveable would be for those 2 to be the same location. You say just Texas, instead of saying a certain place. So...from the way you spoke, I assumed that those 2 were different locations.
Is it the same location? If so, it is very strange.

Today low was -1c and high was 19c. In the early morning frost and in central part of day almost summer temperature.
4.8c right now with clear sky.
