For those of you who are married or in a relationship, I would like to know if your partner has the same climate preferences as you, or if there are significant differences.
My GF does not like hot weather above 95, but she also hates anything below 65 and would rather put up with a hot summer for mild winters. I really don’t mind the cold until it goes into the teens, but I hate anything above 85 and would put up with colder temps instead.

My wife and I are northwest people from the get go. I grew up in Washington, but fell in love with Oregon. She grew up in a small town in southwestern Oregon. In general our climate is mild, which we both like, but we do have warm summers, with many days in the 90's. We are out of the fog line which is great. What's really nice is we can drive 30 minutes and be in the mountains, 1.5 hours to be on the coast.

I grew up in Oregon, (65 years) and wife of 47 yrs in Oregon.
We moved to Seattle area. Weather is even milder than Willamette Valley.

My wife hates hot weather (>30°C or >27°C with very high humidity). She has naturally low blood pressure so she is prone to suffering from vasodilation. When it’s very hot, she often feels sick and somewhat dizzy. I don’t like hot weather either, but I’ve found out I deal with it quite well…

She has no issues with cool weather and loves snow. Then again, we live in a place with rather mild winters (nevertheless, most people complain anyway).

Has she been to Bariloche or Ushuaia ?

I don’t have a partner but if I did have one I’d bet we’d be either soulmates or polar opposites.FYI I hate the cold weather and love warm to hot and humid weather

My husband grew up in the Detroit, MI area and I grew up around the Oswego, NY area.

We both hate weather over 80 F/27 C. He doesn't care for TONS of snow but doesn't mind a couple of feet of snow a year while I love snow and think 10+ feet of it a year is a great thing. He likes sun more often than I do; I am a confirmed heliophobe.

We both prefer Dfb climate types and he is fine with the larger amounts of snow we get here. Both of us enjoy fall though he likes spring the best and I prefer winter. We both like 4-season climates and couldn't see living in a place that didn't have seasonal change.

My wife has the same temperature preference as me.

That means we could live anywhere as long as it's south of Louisville.

She actually doesn’t have a particular climate preference. She does like snowy winters and has a hard time with heat, so I suppose where we are moving (Western NY) would suit her a lot better than my preference for mild, snowless winters, summer heat no object. I don’t think she would be very happy in the desert climates I like or down in Florida which is another place I like.

If it weren't for me and my wife being close to our families, it would be likely we would move to a Dfc/Dsc climate high in the Northwest Rockies or Alaska. We both hate heat above 85F and high sun exposure. We both love comfortable weather (50s/60sF) for shoulder seasons and long, cold, snowy winters. We are both avid skiers, and love consistent snow.
