I don't expect to see wintry temps for a while. Towards Thanksgiving at earliest. PNA staying negative or at neutral at best, the AO staying positive and the NAO as well, but there could be a downward trend by the end of the month according to some members.

Plenty of rain in FL but it hits the force field and goes POOF before it ever gets to me and even if a TS gets into the gulf i am not expecting much in my area.

Loop past couple hours. See the big Vortex (Upper Low) spinning away? Note the snow moving south over California but North over Montana. Base of trough at the Mexico/US border

Thunderstorms at 7000 feet in New Mexico

Only 55°F as of 5am and only heading to 68°F this afternoon. That's 31°F lower than our high just 3 days ago!

Today's averages are 81°F/57°F

Record high in jeopardy today and for the next couple days. Incredible seven day stretch of 70F+ temps here.

The party ends Tuesday with much cooler temps close to normal and actually the GFS has below normal temps next Monday and Tuesday but then trending above normal after that.

Jeez our low temp on Monday is forecast to be 65F..... Avg. High/Low for MDW on Nov. 8th is 53/38F. Nov. 15th 49/35F and on Nov. 23rd 46F/31F

It's only 10AM and already 67F/19C at MDW 64F/18C here near IKK and also up at ORD. Might see upper 70s away from the lake today and tomorrow

70s will stretch as far north as eastern North Dakota and Minnesota and even into Canada today. Damn it will be warmer there and here then it will be in Phoenix

Already up to 72. Went out to run some errands and enjoy the foliage. Woke up to a clear day. So naturally by the time I walk out to my car, clouds started rolling in
Water temp was holding steady for awhile but basically by halloween it dropped 5 degrees on avg. Now the daily range is 68-70. Can definitely tell it's colder. Gonna try to take out the kayak and hope the water dripping down isn't too cold.
