Can't get over how nice the weather's been this Labor Day weekend. After dinner we were a little late to catch the sunset on the water but we did see the twilight. Was in the low 70s and dry. Felt amazing.

Made it down to 59.5 this morning! I wish it would stay like that from here on out but were gonna have lows almost hit 70 mid week coming up.

Don't like the heat in your area? Then head north to live or to get away from it. That simple.

There's always a cooler spot than where you are.

I'm just waiting for summer weather to be over and I'll be fine.

How about them 40s and 50s during the day on Labor Day? 25-35 degrees below normal. And the blues on radar showing it's snowing down to 5000' in Montana and should lower tonight

Gillette, WY at 42 meanwhile Cheyenne, WY at 77. But Cheyenne has gone from 86 at 1:30p to 77 at 2:30p. There's a stiff N/NE wind gusting to over 30 mph. Winter is coming..

Mostly sunny today high was 79F here and at ORD. Midway hit 78 degrees. Some decent amounts of rains expected overnight and tomorrow with much cooler temps for the northern half of Chicagoland. Big temperature spread expected

Everything is pushing south now. Temps are crashing. Wish I can experience this crash. Cheyenne now at 75 from Mid 80s couple hrs ago. It's happening.

Denver and Kansas in the 90s right now

Check out those wind gust reports in Idaho 55mph+

If this is the temp map today - where is this 50 degree drop coming from in Denver for Tues? I don't get it.

It's coming and living high up in the rocks helps with colder temps. We won't even see a 69f in FL until late Oct.

Hmm, looks like my map did not show up ---what it showed was way up in Canada and Montana - temps were 40 - 50.

They also say the snow in CO will be like heavy, wet cement! But there is no report of it in Montana.

This will be VERY interesting for me ---bringing the plants in and unscrewed my hose.
No one is having below freezing temps up North, yet, tho.
Puzzles me.

The cold pocket of air aloft will mix down to the surface, and up-slope winds out of the northeast will result in rapidly cooling temperatures. Any snow on the ground will result in well below freezing temperatures in some areas at various elevations.
