Newberry forest campground saw their first frost yesterday with a low temp of 37. But a freeze doesn’t happen until the end of September.

That don't count. You live high in the rocks so no wonder you are cool. Try that low on the ground and there are no lows like that and this is Aug anyways and not fall.

And you live in a borderline tropical climate (Aw), so you really don’t get defined fall seasons anyways, of course even the ozarks don’t get the sharply defined seasons that the Midwestern United States gets, so neither one of you have any right to point fingers at each other.

Point fingers at each other? This is a weather forum, I stated what my weather was. Scandalous!

I used to get 50's by mid Oct almost every year back in the 70's -1980's. I sure noticed it getting warmer every 5 years it just got worse every 5 years. The last 5 years have been off the charts above normal and the next 5 years will be even worse. Only had a 66f near the end Oct of last year as the coolest temp. That is insane anyway ya look at it.

Hot? Most people in DFW would consider Minneapolis and much of the upper Midwest as being subarctic in climate. You were once in the DFW area, perhaps you could convince your Texas friends that Minneapolis is not subarctic

Minneapolis gets hot in the summer in my opinion too. 85F+ is hot. Minneapolis gets multiple 90F+ days in the summer, and one cannot say that Minneapolis has cold summers.

After this week, highs should be in the mid 70s with lows in the high 50s here, which is perfect September weather.

This week the highs will be in the low to mid 80s, with lows in the mid 60s. I think this will be our last taste of summer.

Ummm have you even SEEN our weather forecasts? The next few days are all hitting the 90s. Also, I doubt most people in DFW are stupid enough to believe that. Maybe they exaggerate the cold but anyone with half a brain would know we have warm summers. Subarctic? Not even close.

And all my Texas friends know its not subarctic. They seen my instagram pictures of me in my pool or at the lake lol. Literally going tubing tomorrow... and no, not snow tubing.
