High was 52F here and at both Chicago airports today under sunny skies

Winter's last hoorah coming? Or will this be the kind of spring that we're going to have with big swings in temps from cold to warm

Not four hours, but not that far off

64f Fresno at 5pm
64f denver at 6pm

Mile high city should be chilly by 9pm with that rate of temp drop.

Hi, chicago george thanks for the maps. I'm hoping you keep updating us this summer. I'm expecting some record smashing heat this year

We got a pretty nice cold airmass around here for the last few days. In fact, very nice if you consider that it's March.

I drove upstate and went camping by the Adirondak Loj for 2 nights to enjoy the nice weather. Highs were near 15f. The first night low was around 7f and the second night around -4f. My gear could handle it pretty easily. Wished it got colder.

Climbed Wright Peak on Saturday. Snow depth was around 5 to 6 feet once you got to 4000 ft. That's one of the advantages of hiking in March: you get to see the whole build-up from the last 4 to 5 months. Will post in the photo thread later.

Was about 0f with wind chills around -20f on the summit, not bad at all. Was colder when I climbed Algonquin last year, around -10f on the summit with chills around -40. As usual, was still hoping for colder both times.

Had lots of fun, and the drive was really enjoyable as well. Weirdly, there are bigger snow piles on the ground on Long Island right now than in Albany. They only got half of the amount of snow we did last month, lol. Further north, snow depth is still over 2 feet in Lake Placid though.

And now, garbage weather coming this week with some 60s in the downstate UHI. Hopefully short lived.

We have been dry in Indianapolis since February 28th. Just lots of sunshine. Temps were pretty close to normal this past weekend, just slightly above but today and for much of this week temps should climb well above normal into the 60s. By this weekend, though, things will be back closer to normal in the lower 50s.

Possible heavy rain comes Thursday into Friday morning. 1-2 inches of rain are possible and it is welcome. Assuming the forecast holds, this will be the first time in history that Indianapolis has not had any precipitation in the first 9 days of March.

The low temperature at PHX Sky Harbor Airport this morning was 66 degrees. If we don't cool down below that before midnight, that will be a record warm low temperature for the date. In fact, we would need to cool down to 64 to tie for the warmest low for this date. #azwx

Dear God. The records are already starting in phoenix. I think 66f will be warmer than our high today. I'll let ya know if any records get broken tonight
