Which climate do you like better?

Both locations record some of the highest average daily highs in Canada from April to October.

Osoyoos for the dryness and faster spring warmup.

Windsor for the warm and sultry summer evenings and overall humid climate.

Interesting that both cities have the same daily mean temp of 10.7C.

Osoyoos for the warmer winters and less snow. I’d like more winter rain though and warmer lows and record lows. Still one of the best Canadian climates outside of Vancouver metro however.

Despite both of them being somewhat hot in June July and August, I’d choose for the cooler July nights, despite having hotter days, although Windsor have better winters. I’d rather deal with hot days than hot nights, because a cool night after a hot day feels refreshing, while a warm night after a warm day feels like a never ending nightmare. Also, cooler nights after hot days means low humidity.

So yes, I’d rather spend a summer in Denver than in San Diego, since Denver has cooler nights despite the hotter days.

Both of them have too cold winters but I choose Windsor for having warmer summer nights and more rainfall.

Windsor by a mile.

Osoyoos is too dry, and I hate dry climates.

I personally like Windsor more. I like having warm summer nights, and June to August have nightly lows above 60°F which is fantastic! It also is wetter and has just overall better winters and more thunderstorms during summer which is also awesome.

Osoyoos for sure. Those chilly nights make for some delicious Okanagan wine!
